Peptide Therapy
Restorative Health & Wellness is committed to aiding in each patient's journey to a healthy life. Whether that be healing and recovering from lyme disease or improving your day to day life with reduction in inflammation to aid in better cognitive functioning and increased energy. For that reason we have started using injectable peptides! See some of the peptides we’ve started using and why they might be perfect for you.
1
BPC-157
This is an anti-inflammatory peptide used primarily for joint/ligament injury and recovery. It helps with accelerating wound healing and is neuroprotective, working via angiogenesis to form new blood vessels. We’ve also seen improvements in gut health with this peptide (ie: IBS, leaky gut, etc.)
2
KPV
This is another anti-inflammatory peptide, though not specifically for injury healing, like BPC-157. This is for general anti-inflammation and specifically aids in gut health and skin issues (ex: IBS, eczema, leaky gut, etc.)
3
NAD+
This peptide is excellent at boosting energy. Sufferers of chronic fatigue would benefit from this peptide as it helps with energy as well as regulating sleep cycles. In doing so we’ve also seen improvements in mental acuity, memory, and focus.
4
TA-1 (Thymosin Alpha 1)
This is a well-tolerated immune modulating peptide that helps increase T-cells, supports the immune system, and works as an anti-inflammatory. This has been very helpful thus far with our lyme disease patient population.
5
Pinealon
This is a neuroprotective peptide that aids in cognitive healing - memory, attention, and learning, as well as improving sleep quality by improving the sleep-wake cycle. In doing so it also aids in stress reduction.
6
GLP-1s
There are different types of GLP-1’s and we use 2 of them currently. Most of our patients are using these in micro-doses to help with inflammation, though they can be used in regular titrations for weight loss.
